About Me
Hi, I am Julie! My Dad created this store for me. Isn't he cool!
My logo symbolizes my story. I am half-Vietnamese born and raised in the U.S. Learning the Gentle Art of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu a fighting style that originated in Japan.
I am a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu athlete, competitive swimmer and a straight A student.  When I'm not choking necks on the mat, I am tickling the ivory in piano lessons.  Apparently all that costs a lot of money.  But, what do I know about economics, I'm just 9 years old.
Anyways, my Dad says this store better work out or it's back to selling cookies door to door for me.  Got to pay for all this training.
But, don't be fooled by the "About Me" page, it's not just all about me. 5% of net proceeds will go towards the Girls in Gis' scholarship fund for other female Jiu-Jitsu athletes like myself. Being a girl in a predominantly male sport, I understand how hard it is for girls like me to find opponents sometimes. We want to encourage more girls to empower themselves with self-defense. And, I want to see you on the mats!
Let's Roll!
